  • The 360 Shove-It is a rolling trick and consists of a 360 degree varial rotation of the board. This is one of those tricks that is fundamental to freestyle. Unlike the street-style equivalent, where the tail is used to initiate the Shove-It, the freestyle version launches off of the nose instead. This trick can also be done Frontside or Backside.

Start off rolling forward and place your front foot on the nose, pointing directly forward. Not everyone point their front foot straight forward, but it helps a lot while you are first learning. Your back foot should hang a bit off to the inside. Your front foot does most of the work to press down and flick the board into its rotation while your back foot assists with the shove. If you have trouble getting the board to rotate 360 degrees, try going a little faster. The extra momentum will help spin the board around.
