Meatspin
Long Hand Casper Disaster to one-foot backward flip to pivot to kickturn out
Inventor Denham Hill
Invented 2009
Difficulty Level Expert

This amazing combo was invented by aggro-style British freestyler Denham Hill circa 2009. Violently executed with a radical rhythmic intensity, the Meatspin has become Denham's signature trick and never fails to electrify a crowd.

Trick Breakdown

Starting off rolling Fakie, do a normal Casper Disaster, then immediately after the 180 rail turn, do a one-foot 3/4 backward flip out of rail and land into a 180 pivot (in the same direction), back out to fakie. This is then immediately followed by a Kickturn, which brings you into a forward roll, bringing the trick to a harmonious resolution.

The first generation of this trick did not include the pivot. Denham quit skating for a few years after the initial invention of the trick, and it wasn't until after his return to skating in 2014, that he added the extra pivot at the end.
