A 50/50 (Pronounced fifty-fifty) is the most basic truck stand trick. There are several ways that you can get into a 50/50, but getting into it from a nose stop is the most common method. From a nose or Tailstop, place your back foot under the deck in-between the trucks and lift the deck vertically. As the board reaches a little past a vertical position, rest your rear foot onto the truck and grab the nose or tail (whichever it may be) with your front hand. You should then be able reach a balance point and hold the truck stand for a few seconds. The whole process should be one fluid motion without touching your feet on the ground. From there you can transition into a whole slew of different 50/50 tricks, like Pogos, Saran Wraps, etc... There are many ways to land a 50/50, but the most basic way is a half flip out.
