Capital Skateboards was started in 1995 by Andy Stone and Pepe Martinez after leaving Underworld Element. Capital was also backed by East Coast Urethane. Partners included Chris Keefe, Kevin Taylor, Sean Mullendore, Ryan Hickey, Carlos Kenner and John Igei.
