CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control. This is a way of automating the operations of a machine through a computer program. The computer converts a design produced by CAD (Computer Aided Design) software into numbers that represent coordinates. The computer then controls the CNC machine by using these coordinates to perform its cutting or drilling functions.
