Capital Skateboards was started in 1995 by Andy Stone and Pepe Martinez after leaving [[Underworld Element]]. Capital was also backed by [[East Coast Urethane]]. Partners included Chris Keefe, Kevin Taylor, Sean Mullendore, Ryan Hickey, Carlos Kenner and John Igei.
