A Casper is a freestyle stance where the skateboard is upside down and balanced on the point of the tail. The skater's back foot is on the underside of the tail and the board maintains its angled position by the skater's front foot being hooked under the deck. It is important to note that having the front foot on the floor is considered cheating, and not a proper casper.

You can also drop the part of the board that is over your front foot and drop it, then catch it again with the front foot repeatedly. This is a real crowd-pleaser and an attention-grabber (because of the rhythmic noise).
