Delamination is where the plies of a Deck separate from each other. This failure mode can occur due to a lack of adhesion through the improper application of the glue by the manufacturer, but, for freestylers, this is more commonly caused by Pogos. The lateral shock to the layers on the Nose or Tail tend to separate them after time. Anti-Delamination Screws, however, can help tremendously with holding the plies together, greatly prolonging the useful life of your deck.
