The truck profile is an indicator for the distance between the bottom of the skateboard deck and the center of the axle.
In general, a Mid-Profile truck will work well for most freestylers. High trucks are usually preferred for rail tricks, as it creates a more stable platform for them. And Low trucks provide extra stability for those who focus more on flip tricks.
